1. Still no kiss from Dennis - My giddiness had taken a back seat and so I am going to wait for him to make a move. I mean, really, he's old enough to take a hold of the situation. I've made all the decisions and all the moves. I'm done for a while. I don't want to give up yet. But I need to figure out where this is going. I feel like he at least has good intentions towards me, i.e. he doesn't just want me for sex. In fact, Kathleen and I were wondering if it would even come to that...but what 25 year old doesn't want to have sex. He better not be weirdly religious. I think he would have mentioned something if he was.
2. Hit on by 33 year old in the bar Saturday night. Gross. He wasn't gross, just not interested in a guy to hits on college girls and works at MidAmerican Energy.

I love Mondays. It's strange, but Tuesdays are my "Mondays". I only have studio and work on Mondays so it's a really easy day, but Tuesdays are different story. I have 4 classes and I'm stuck on campus until 5:30. Usually the only thing that keeps me going is my Caribou break, but I'm really low on the money department so probably no coffee tomorrow. I need all the money I can keep just to drive home for break. Luckily the girls need a ride home and they always help me with gas. Such good girls.

I really need a bookshelf for my room. I need a trip to Urban Outfitters to get some apartment stuff. Kelsey and I are going crazy shopping at Jordan Creek in the beginning of next semester, maybe I can find something then.

Since it looks like no on else has posted this, IGN has given us a brief description of the characters in Shattered Memories here. ( if you don't want spoilers, don't look! )

They also confirmed that the NA Wii release of the title will be December 8, with the PS2 & PSP versions following. ( source )

Lastly, some new images have been added, including some gorgeous painted pieces. However they do contain new characters, so if you're trying to stay absolutely spoiler free, I'd avoid these.

Here is run-down of current events:
Monday night I was going fucking crazy. I watched Gossip Girl and it happened to be a really kissy episode. I couldn't stop thinking about how much I wanted to kiss Dennis. It was so bad I couldn't concentrate on studying and I contemplated driving over to his place. I knew my silly girl brain was acting up, so I called Leah and I desperately told her to calm me down. It worked and she told me I could wait until Saturday. It didn't help that we had a conversation off and on all day via text that kept going no where. It bothered me, but I didn't want to be annoying so I just let it all slide. I am not going to text him again until he texts first or Saturday comes (since we have a date).
Tuesday I had a huge exam in art history. I had to memorize 170 slides, but I think I totally dominated it. Yeesssss. We just found out the final exam is cumulative so we'll have about 300 slides to memorize. I might shoot myself if he doesn't tone the number down.
Today was a nice laid back day. Kelsey and I stressed Marta out by redesigning the floor plan again. Then I went to work. I was feeling really quiet, and apparently my co-workers noticed and were wondering what was wrong. It made me feel really good that people actually notice and care about me. Made me feel all warm and fuzzy. I was just having a quiet day, nothing was the matter. After work I rushed to the portfolio review and got some really good ideas from professionals. I told them what I wanted to change about mine and we agreed on many things. Good night all around.

David invited me to play this "Werewolf" game right? Well he called today and told me about it and told me he'd really like to see me and sounded all flustered. I was like, I don't need this. You REALLY had your chance. But in actuality, I said I'd go and bring a friend with. So I frantically scrambled to get a friend to come with. Megan, out of town. Leah, Working. Allison, babysitting. Gina, in Mexico. Kelsey, check! Luckily she knows about my history with David and said she'd be my backup. I really don't want anything to happen with him, obviously I am totally into Dennis, but my body always says otherwise. Drinking will of course be involved. Kara will be there (the girl who was grinding with David way back in the Summer) and I just know I'll get jealous. It is pisses me off that I have to feel that way for someone I don't want to be with.

Found this article on MSN and thought it was interesting, but really ridiculous. ( If He Lets You Buy His Underwear, You're the One. )

Sorry about the lack of/sporadic Eastern show posts. I'm in the middle of moving and changing internet caca --I try to get these up when I can.

 Since I'm very panfandom, whenever my friends are searching for recommendations, they usually ask me first. One of my friends mentioned that they had begun reading some Digimon fanfiction and wanted to know what to look for...

Although I'm open to just about any recs, she's specifically looking for Tai/Yamato and Ken/Davis or gen, so I thought I'd dig up some of my old reads, since they're not widely written pairings anymore (or am I just missing them?).

One of the stories I liked has been pulled down with no sign of it being saved anywhere: Ripples by an author named toko. My old links went to FF.Net and MediaMiner.

I'd like to at least get the chance to read it through again and see if I still like it. Does anyone have a new link or an archived copy they could send me? :) If so, my e-mail is shadowpup88 [at] gmail.com.

i've been hearing about this for a while now. jay leno isn't doing well in the ratings, which consequently affects local news affiliates as well as the tonight show and late night with jimmy fallon. and local affiliates as well as nbc producers are mad b/c (as we all know) he's stealing all the drama time slots. well, nbc may fire jay (which will cause them millions since leno have the contract) or , get this, critics are saying that nbc may fire conan and bring jay back to the tonight show, which i think is unfair.

sorry for posting this news here, but i'm just mad for conan now. if they really do that, and the article highlights this, viewers will certainly abandon nbc.

Is there a section on the NBC site that has only the remote videos like the Late Night site had? I don't see one, but my internet skills are laughable so I never know.

I would like to make a tabletop role-playing game based on Silent Hill setting for my friends. Does anybody have the experience in this? I don't know what system suits better for this. It would be easy to use D20 or World Of Darkness mechanics, but may be there is a way that is better?
